✨ The Quiet Magic of Becoming

Have you ever been doing the work, wondering if anything is actually changing, only to have a moment that shows you just how far you've come?

Last night, I had one of those moments.

When I first started my manifestation journey ~5 years ago, I wanted money. I wanted to manifest sums of money that would change my life. I believed that if I could figure out how to manifest what I wanted, everything would be different.

But about two years into my journey, something shifted.

I started wanting different things.

Confidence. Calm. Pride. Joy. Love. Authenticity. Unconditional happiness.

And by unconditional happiness, I don't mean being happy all the time. I mean being able to handle whatever comes my way. To trust myself through the hard moments without needing everything around me to be perfect in order to feel good within myself.

I didn't realize it at the time, but my definition of what it meant to change my life was changing, too.

And then last night, I experienced a full-circle moment.

When I first began this journey, jealousy was one of the emotions that brought me here. It felt overwhelming and confusing. I didn't understand why I felt the way I did or what to do with it.

There was a particular person who stirred up those feelings in me. For years, I had been working to understand myself, shift my mindset, and change the way I experienced my emotions.

Last night, I heard something about that same person.

And instead of jealousy, I felt genuine happiness for them.

Not forced happiness. Not the kind where you tell yourself you should be happy for someone while something inside you still hurts.

Real, genuine happiness, and that was the only emotion that surfaced.  WOW!   I was moved to tears because in that moment, I could see something I hadn't fully recognized before.

I HAD changed.

The emotion that once felt so overwhelming had transformed. Something that used to trigger insecurity and comparison was now met with love. And I realized just how far I had come.

I think we often expect growth to come with a lightning bolt moment. A giant AHA! A moment when everything clicks and we can confidently declare, "I've arrived!"

I know I was waiting for that moment. Sometimes, it happens quietly, beneath the surface. Every thought you question. Every time you choose compassion instead of judgment. Every moment you pause instead of reacting. Every time you meet yourself with curiosity instead of shame.

Each of those moments is laying a new foundation.  I had been doing what I call the excavation and integration for years, and it was messy at times, well a lot of the time, but I knew there had to be more to life, so I kept digging.

And for 95% of the time, you might not even feel different. You might still get frustrated, feel insecure, compare yourself to others, or wonder whether any of this work is making a difference.

But then a moment comes along that reveals what has been happening all along. You encounter something that once triggered you, and suddenly, the old reaction isn't there in the same way.

You realize that the person you are becoming has been taking shape all along.

I get what Michael Singer was talking about!

Whether you're working through jealousy, insecurity, shame, worthlessness, or overwhelm, those feelings don't have to define you forever. With awareness, compassion, and consistent inner work, you can change your relationship with them and begin to transform pain into understanding, self-trust, and love.

But here's what I want you to remember.

Don't be a visitor in your own transformation. Be a permanent resident.

Don't just visit the work when life feels hard or when you desperately want something to change. Keep showing up. Keep questioning the thoughts that no longer serve you. Keep practicing the beliefs and behaviors that align with who you want to become.  Keep excavating and weeding your mind garden every single day to make room for the new beautiful to replace those weeds.

I started this journey wanting money to change my life.

Today, I understand that some of the most profound changes aren't about what we manifest externally. Sometimes, the greatest gift is becoming someone who can experience life differently, regardless of what is happening around them.

Mindset transforms lives in ways you can only dream of.

Sometimes, you won't realize how much you've changed until life gives you a moment to show you. Your transformation may already be happening quietly beneath the surface.

You just haven't seen the evidence yet.
